PALATKA, Fla., March 16, 2009 - Students at Wadsworth Elementary School and their parents are invited to "Splash into Science Night," a hands-on, interactive family event focusing on the importance of Florida's water resources.
Splash into Science Night, scheduled for April 1 from 6 to 8 p.m., is an activity sponsored by the St. Johns River Water Management District's Watershed Action Volunteer (WAV) Program in Flagler County. The event will reinforce special water-related lessons taught in class the previous week.
